Hi readers, over the last few weeks, i was busy with my NS stuffs. The last few days, just before the market rebounds, got people ask me to take a look at CNA and Eastern Holding. So i going to post my findings between this 2 companies.

Debt to Equity 0.79377
Price/Cash Per share 5.4593
Current Ratio 1.53075
Quick Ratio 1.48824
Dividend Yield 0.45%
Net Current Asset per share $0.2852
NAV 0.242079046
Eastern Holdings, base on price of $0.18, 07 report
Price/Earning per share 1.833549183
Return on Equity 16.14%
Price/Book per share 0.740535189
Debt to Equity 1.501830706
Price/Cash Per share 1.7152
Current Ratio 2.419231439
Quick Ratio 1.137644806
Dividend Yield 3.20%
Net Current Asset per share $0.33211
NAV 0.2430674
Well, from the above, you can see the difference in the PE ratio and the Return on Equity, base on this 2 factors, one can view that Eastern Holdings is a better company to hold for long term. However, one cannot discount the water treatment, air ventilation and the upcoming projects of CNA. But for now, I will choose Eastern Holdings over CNA.
